BRITISH GIRL

I'M SO FASCINATED by Carey Hannah Mulligan. She so sweet, inspiring and beautiful! First of all her film debut was in a Jane Austen's movie, Pride & Prejudice in 2005. How cool is that? Jane Austen is my favorite author. Not enough, she also won several awards by her acting in An Education (amazing movie, btw!) and now The Great Gatsby is being filmed, where she will be playing the part as Daisy Buchanan. I need to see this movie! Wow, and not to mention - she also had a stage role in Broadway. Not to bad, right?

I WANTED TO spoil myself a little yesterday, so I bought a new camera, Nikon D3100, which is a digital reflex camera. I can really recommend this camera - it's light, not to big and it takes perfect and beautiful pictures, like any other reflex cameras. The guy who I bought the camera from, he told me about this really cool way to make your pictures even more fantastic and if you want to be a bit more creativ. You can use this thing called HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE or like normal people would call it HDR. He explained that you take three photos - one in normal light, one in low light and one in high light. Then you mix the three pictures together and voila a fantastic picture comes to life, more or less. Of course you need a programme, but every camera can do it, reflex cameras as well as normal pocket cameras. Here are some HDR pictures. Tell me what you think?

MMMMH, ICECOLD SMOOTHIES. Nutrition is a very important element in my life. Healthy food fascinates me and I actually like the food. Of course I like a hamburger, soda, chips etc. but a fruit salad, smoothie, avocado, almends and so on is heaven for me. Let me guess, now you think I'm a health freak, who runs 3 hours a day but no, no, no! I just know that healthy food is essential for a good happy life! So next time you pour yourself a glass of soda, think of me and my big glass of blueberry smoothie.. Enjoy! ;-)

Nice, France 2010. The whole street was a market with ingredients, fish, meat, fruit and vegetables. I could have used all day just looking and smelling every little thing! Btw, it's my sister's arm in the picture.

FASCINATION

ONE OF MY girl-cruch right now is Liya Kebede. I saw her in the movie Desert Flower and she was amazing. I mean first of all she is a total power women: model, designer, actress, maternal health advocate and on top for all that, she also serve as ambassador for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health for WHO. Then she got that beautiful ethiopian face and a body to kill for. She's so fascinating!
